How The Carlton Foundation for Kids collects, uses and protects information when you visit this website, contact us, make a donation or sponsor one of our events.
Who we are
This website is operated by The Carlton Foundation for Kids (“we”, “us”). You can reach us by phone at (904) 284-8321, by mail at 4615 US Highway 17 Ste 1, Fleming Island, FL 32003, or through our contact form.
Information you give us
Contact form
When you send us a message we collect your name, email address, the subject and your message.
Email sign-up
When you subscribe from the footer we collect your email address.
Sponsorships, tickets and donations
When you check out we collect your name, email address, billing address and, if you provide them, your phone number, company or organization name, the sponsorship contact details requested at checkout, and any note you add to your order. We keep a record of what you purchased or donated and the amount.
Information sent automatically with a form
With each form submission we also record the page it was sent from, the referring page, your browser’s user-agent string and your IP address. We use these to prevent spam and abuse.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe’s secure payment form and go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us the payment’s status and limited details such as the card brand and last four digits. Donations made through our Stripe donation page are handled by Stripe in the same way.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed. Analytics only runs with cookies after you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner; if you decline, it stays off. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s cookies, which shows the banner again.
How we use your information
- To respond to your messages and send you the updates you signed up for.

Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that run this website for us: our website host and database provider, Stripe for payments, Google for analytics (only with your consent), and our email delivery provider for messages and receipts. We keep order and donation records as long as we need them for our records and legal obligations, and form submissions for as long as needed to respond and follow up.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you emails, by contacting us using the details above. You can also unsubscribe from our emails at any time.
Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
